Yes, you read that right: Underwater Sculptures. As per the artist's mission statement, they are eventually intended to form artificial reefs and provide insight into the emergence of such structures as well as raise awareness regarding environmental issues. I thought it was a fascinating idea, and the photos of said sculptures turned out beautiful, best viewed in full size on Jason de Caires Taylor's website. As per usual, no copyright infringement is intended, comments and credit are nice but not necessary, but if you take any, please credit the original artist somewhere.
Um, that is kind of THE MOST AWESOME SCULPTURE PROJECT I'VE EVER SEEN. I'm all out of icon space, auuuugggghhhhh the cruelty.
AH HA HA I LIED I HAD ONE OPEN SPACE! :D :D
YAY! :D :D And you picked one of my faves, too! :D

Thanks so much! I'm glad some people like these. :)
Thank you! I loved the idea and couldn't help trying to give this a little more exposure. :)
I have never heard about this artist; what a project!I saved 3, 7, 21, 39 & 43 with credit. I love the colors in all of these! THANK YOU :)
You're most welcome (for the Caspar David Friedrich ones, too). :) And fyi, I'm currently working on a new set of the same artist's work, it'll be up on my Dreamwidth journal of the same name in a few days (and a link there will be posted in this one, too).
FANTASTIC! I don't do Dreamwidth (cannot keep up with LJ) but I am watching your community. I look forward to seeing more of your work :)Sorry to spam you with several emails for what I saved.
No problem at all, I appreciate getting feedback on which icons people like even if it comes in several emails. :DAnd thank you so much for the compliments! ^^
